Delicious

I have always found Delicious a valuable tool in keeping things organised and in one central location, considering that I as a person tend severely towards chaos and disorganisation.

Delicious is a great way to send a collection of online resources to students and teachers. It keeps all the information in one place and the tagging system makes it easy to segment and separate links into topics. The new Stack option is also a great way of doing that, in a way that lets you invite other people and makes it a collaborative effort to provide information. You can also follow Stacks on a particular topic.

There is also an addition which collects links that are tweeted from a linked Twitter account, which I think is great and very helpful.

Half the fiction.

A great move at the start of the year pulled the fiction collection out from the shadows at the back of the library, to the main lounge area, where I'm sure they're seeing much more traffic than they used to!

Monster Librarian - Read to Survive

The Monster Librarian is a good source for teachers and librarians alike, seeking to develop their Horror collections. It contains a collection of reviews, author interviews, news on Horror writings, teacher and librarian resources.
